We realise that many young people are reliant on their phones while travelling to school and back and to stay in touch with parents and friends, however phones in camp can become a problem:-
Please talk to your young person about taking their phone, phones can get lost around site and are hard to find in long grass. We also can only offer very limited charging facilities.
If your young person does bring their phone to camp, please encourage them to talk to adults on site before making a phone call home, our adult team are experienced in running events and always have the wellfare of young people as their priority. We can resolve most issues on site without the need for a phone call home.
Our preference is for young people not to take phones to camp if possible.
