Email Following Initial Phone Call

Hello Emma

Thanks for getting in touch about local Scouting. Our scout district provides support to six Scout Groups and two Explorer Scout Units in the Hetton, Houghton and Washington area. There are nearly 500 scouts locally aged 6-75 years of age, male and female and from all walks of life.

I wondered if we could setup an informal meeting in the coming days to discuss opportunities and how we can work together. I'm available day times this week due to half term and Wednesday evening if either are any good?

In the meantime, you can find out more about scouting at www.scouts.org.uk and find out what local scouts are going at www.hls-scouts.org.uk.

You can also see our current adult vacancies at www.hls-scouts.org.uk/volunteer and again I'd be more than happy to discuss these and others further.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch in the meantime, look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

Dear Colleague

Thanks for your time tonight meeting members of Houghton-le-Spring District. I hope you found your time informative.

This letter outline the next steps and provides contact information for the people who will support you should you wish to take up an active role with one of our sections.
