Launch event – THURSDAY 8th October 7.45pm – 8.30pm, St. Andrews Church Hall, Concord.

Believe it or not, it’s time to start thinking about going abroad again in 2010.

This Thursday, 8th October is the launch of our district adventure holiday to the French Alps. It’s for Scouts aged 10-14 and Explorer Scouts aged 14-18 years old. There’s a big adventure programme that includes white water rafting in an alpine river, summer toboggan run, alpine walk overnight above the clouds, and a whole stack more. You will be pleased to know that there are really good fundraising opportunities too that will help you raise at least £200 of the £350 fee. (that’s £350 for all your travel, food and accommodation).

You can find out what people who did it last year said in the blog here and also check out the images of the canyon, rafting and our luxurious chalet here.

The launch event takes place at St. Andrews Church Hall, Concord, Washington on Thursday 8th October at 7.45pm (please don’t arrive early since the Beaver Colony will be still meeting).

Best wishes
