Photos

We've been incredibly busy - from nights in the capital, to exploring a museum, to hikes along Hadrian's Wall! We've had over 800 young people at our events this year, all having a fantastic time!

Our photo and media policy

Our photos and media look great and show the many great adventures our young people get to experience! Photos are securely stored in our domain and are available from this area of our website and some are on our social media feeds. We never publish photos in which you could identify an unknown young person (e.g. we don't publish names, name badges or tag people in social media feeds).

During our events and activities members of our leader team, will try to capture the incredible action by taking photos and videos. We will use these photos in accordance with Scout Association guidelines.

Pictures and videos of your child/ you taken by our leader team will be used during and after the event/activity to promote the event online and on our social media feeds. The media may be used in scouting locally and for future events on our website, our social media feeds and in print. We may send media to local or national newspapers too. We will seek your permission if we'd like to use a photo of your child/ you

in any newspapers.

Anyone attending a HLS events event, should note that their child's (or own) attendance at the event or activity signifies their consent for pictures of themselves/ your child to be used in line with the above policy.

If you have specific concerns, or would not like to have photos of your child (or you) published, please contact events@hls-scouts.org.uk prior to the published start of the event.
