3 days of incredible adventure.
Scouts, explorers and adult leaders explored, laughed and learned in our three days in the capital. Scouts and explorers met new friends and learned new skills to navigate and enjoy the capital.

We started with our coach journey, before checking-in, grabbing our new tube cards and heading to Nando's in Kensington! Scouts and explorers then used the tube for the first time to navigate to Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Downing Street and The Mall. As the 'peoples' march' had occurred earlier that day, young people got the opportunity to discuss their own views on one of the biggest crises to face the UK in recent times!

Sunday brought Madame Tussauds and our monopoly run! Afterwards, we headed to the Shard and watched the sun set from 300m high. To end the night, we witnessed the bright lights of Piccadilly Circuit and saw a film premiere in Leicester Square.

Monday took us around the capital with a blue badge guide, followed by an exclusive preview of Parliament. Sharon Hodgson MP hosted a lively Q&A session, with young people asking her about transport, Brexit, education and much more! The day wasn't over yet - with quick stops at Covent Garden, Oxford and Bond Streets, we headed to Planet Hollywood for some food (and some questionable dancing)! A West-End performance of Wicked finished off our day. Wow.

If we hadn't already seen enough, The London Eye and Wembley Stadium were the final two instalments on our tour. After 4 incredible days, we headed home as one big group of friends.
